SPARK!
At Mesa we consider SPARK! to be an extension of the day that not only provides care and supervision but also offers extracurricular options for TK-8 students. Our TK-3 grade levels participate in weekly themes with related activities that range from arts and crafts, outside exploration to team-building projects. Our upper-grade levels are introduced to a recreational style of program that allows students to explore daily offerings and pick the activity of their choice. Our middle school program creates a safe space for students to remain on campus that need services and will have club options introduced throughout the school year such as cooking, STEM, and athletics.
Hello! My name is Ms. Melissa, and I am the ELO-P Site Supervisor for High Tech Mesa. I have been proudly part of the SPARK! team for the past three years, bringing my passion for creating a safe and engaging environment for students. However, my journey with High Tech goes even further back—I’ve been working the Afterschool Program with High Tech for eight years. I look forward to continuing to support our students and families while fostering a positive and enriching experience for everyone involved!

As the autumn leaves fall and the holiday season begins to approach, we are excited to share all the engaging activities and enrichment opportunities planned for your children this November!
This month, we are introducing a wonderful variety of classes designed to inspire creativity, build new skills, and keep the fun going after school. Here's what we have coming up:
Wa-Sho Japanese Cooking Class
Let your child explore the tastes and traditions of Japan! In this hands-on cooking class, children will learn about Japanese culture while preparing simple, delicious dishes. It's a fun and flavorful way to develop culinary confidence and cultural appreciation.
Classes are currently full but be on the look our for more sign-ups!
Kidokinetics
Get ready to move! Kidokinetics offers high-energy physical education through fun games and age-appropriate fitness activities. This class encourages motor skill development, teamwork, and a lifelong love of movement.
Kidokinetics will take place from 3:00 - 4:30:
• Monday: Kinder
• Wednesday: 2nd Grade
• Friday: 1st Grade
Expressive Art Class
Our Expressive Art Class gives students the chance to create, explore, and express themselves through a variety of art mediums. From painting to mixed media, this class supports emotional development while nurturing creativity.
3:15 - 4:15 Thursday: 3rd Grade; Friday: 4th/5th Grade

Spanish Class
¡Hola! Our Spanish Class makes language learning fun and interactive. Through songs, games, and conversation, children will develop beginner vocabulary and a love for learning new languages and cultures.
We are proud to offer a well-rounded program that supports the development of the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.
